In the heart of Olomouc, just a few steps from Andrův Stadium and within a pleasant walking distance from the picturesque historic center, is Hotel Gól – a place where tranquility, comfort, and exceptional guest care come together.

We are a smaller, carefully managed hotel that prides itself on a personal approach, quality services, and comfortable facilities for both relaxation and business trips. Every detail with us has its purpose – from the cozy furnished rooms to the individual approach of our staff.

HOW TO GET TO US IF YOU ARE TRAVELING:

For better orientation, we have placed 15 directional information signs around Olomouc and the surrounding area with the inscription "Hotel Gól, quality accommodation in the center", which will guide you all the way to us!

- BY TRAIN -

At the Olomouc main train station, take tram number 4 or 7 and ride for about 10 minutes to the city center, where you get off at the Náměstí hrdinů stop. Walk towards the SPEA Polyclinic and then pass it so that it is on your right side. Continue straight past the Hussite church, then turn right behind it. Keep walking straight until you see the Lingua language school. Behind the Kuželna restaurant (Hanácký kuželkářský klub), turn left and go downhill to the football stadium stands. Pass through the gate and reach the reception. The hotel is part of the stadium, the reception is located next to the tennis courts.

- BY BUS -

At the Olomouc bus station, go through the underpass and wait for tram number 4. Get off at the Náměstí hrdinů stop. Other information is the same as for traveling by train.

- BY CAR -

If you use navigation, we recommend entering U Stadionu street to be guided from the correct side of the stadium.

When traveling by car from Prague, the best access route is via the D1 highway to Brno and then the 1st class road E 462 to Olomouc. From Ostrava use the 1st class road E 462 towards Olomouc.

When entering Olomouc, follow the sign "city center". Pass through the center to Náměstí hrdinů and at the last intersection turn right (you will see a Billa supermarket on the left side). After a while, you will reach a roundabout, where you take the 3rd exit, then after about 100 meters turn left into U Stadionu street. As you pass through this street, you will pass a small park on the right, and immediately after it turn right. Drive straight to the stadium, where you will go through the gate directly to the hotel reception.

Hotel Gól has a history closely connected with Olomouc, sports, and human resilience. Before 1997, the building served as a simple dormitory. However, everything changed with the devastating floods in the summer of 1997, which also affected this part of the city. The building was significantly damaged – but instead of ending, it was given a new chance.

After the floods, the building underwent a major reconstruction and Hotel Gól was born – with the idea of creating a pleasant, affordable, and comfortable place to stay near the stadium and city center. From the very beginning, we wanted to be more than just a hotel – a place where people feel welcome, where the sporting spirit blends with a homely atmosphere.

Another important milestone came in 2010, when the southern stand of the stadium was added to the complex. It is in this modern part that our comfortable apartments with views of the field are located today, as well as rooms on the second floor, offering peace and comfort with the exceptional atmosphere of a place alive with sports.

Today, Hotel Gól is a combination of history, sports energy, and informal comfort. We do not forget where we came from – and thanks to this journey, we can appreciate every guest who visits us.
